School Children in Siraha Get Clean Water and Hygiene Kits

Shree Ram Shundar Janata Basic School in Golbazar, Nepal, celebrates a major achievement in WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene) thanks to HHRD Nepal. The organization installed and handed over a bio-sand filtration and aeration system with a community handpump to the school. This project, witnessed by local government, social workers, and community members, ensures students and surrounding households have access to clean drinking water daily, protecting them from waterborne diseases.

HHRD Nepal didn't stop there. They also held a sanitation and hygiene awareness program to promote healthy habits, followed by distributing sanitation kits to needy students. This initiative provides a holistic approach to improving the well-being of the school community.
