Helping Heart Nepal, a prominent non-governmental organization dedicated to social welfare, recently hosted a ceremony to mark the successful completion of its Scholarship Project under the Educational Support Program. Held at the Bagbazar-28, Kathmandu, the event celebrated the distribution of scholarships to 38 deserving students pursuing Bachelor’s and Master’s level education in different stream.
Each student received NPR 35,000.00 as financial support, with recipients selected based on criteria such as Needy, poor, financially weak, and merit. The initiative aims to empower academically talented but financially disadvantaged youth, helping them achieve their educational goals.
The ceremony was chaired by Md. Jiyauddin, President of Helping Heart Nepal, who reaffirmed the organization's commitment to fostering educational equity. Honorable Shamim Miya Ansari, Chairman of the Muslim Commission Nepal, attended as the Chief Guest and emphasized the transformative power of education in societal progress. Special Guests included Mr. Manoj Bhatta, Member Secretary of the Social Welfare Council, who praised the transparent selection process and the scholarships' impact. Mr. Jiba Pokharel, Manager of Helping Hand USA, who highlighted the collaboration between the two organizations and Mr. Mohammad Talha, Vice-President of Helping Heart Nepal, also addressed the audience, encouraging students to excel academically.
“Education is the most powerful weapon we can use to change the world. Through this initiative, we aim to unlock the potential of these young minds and provide them with the resources they need to thrive,” said Md. Jiyauddin.
This Scholarship Project stands as a testament to Helping Heart Nepal’s unwavering dedication to promoting education and empowering Nepal’s youth, setting an exemplary standard for supporting underprivileged but deserving students.
